Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all other dance styles and is the core of our dance program.
Our Classical Ballet curriculum is based upon the acclaimed Vaganova Method. Proficiency in classical technique, alignment, aplomb, strength, flexibility, vocabulary, ballet history and appreciation, artistry, and musicality are gained through the course curriculum. Designed to be progressive, the aim of our program is continual student advancement with the completion of each school year. Our school year begins in late August and commences with our annual recital in June.
Pre - Pointe work in our Classical Ballet program begins at the Ballet III level.
Pointe work begins at the Ballet IV level.
Pas de Deux (partnering) work begins at the Ballet V level.
Ballet II-VII is by placement only.
Ballet II classes are twice weekly, Ballet III-VII are three times weekly.
